HEINZ TOMATO KETCHUP!!

Heinz are celebrating 140 years Anniversary!

Although American...Heinz Tomato Ketchup or 'Tomato Sauce' as we affectionately call it...is a British culinary main stay! (Along with cans of Heinz Baked Beans and Tomato Soup TOO!).  http://www.heinz.com/

These are foodstuffs that many Brits abroad CANNOT DO WITHOUT and have to have on or with  practically everything!  In a month we can usually get through a whole 1kg bottle.  Sometimes more if we have family or friends over from the UK!

I Have also discovered the THE ENGLISH SHOP in Stockholm.... http://www.englishshop.se/  for other specialities that you just cannot go without AND can't bring back in my hand-luggage...  CREAM OF HORSERADISH SAUCE and MINT SAUCE and RADDOX BUBBLEBATH!

Tomato Sauce or Ketchup is to the British what I believe or understand that Lingon Sylt is to the Swedish!
Although the Swedish do like and eat a ALOT of Ketchup too!
For my English counterparts Lingon Sylt is a type of berry jam, made from lingonberries.  These berries are also known as Cowberries and are not disimilar to red currants and at a push cranberries.
They are very hard to find outside of Nordic climes.

Jon saw this CUTE little 140 years anniversary glass bottle and bought it!
