Looking through the kitchen window this morning and also yesterday, at exactly the same time between 9am an 10am ... We have witnessed the following strange sight! But not quite Alfred Hitchcock.

My hubby swore they were Capercaillie a type of Turkey, not sure what they are called in Swedish. But apparently, a highly prized game bird and very edible... Jon became quite excited, as he thought he was going to put food on the table...until he realised DAMN he didn't have any cartridges for his shotgun. I was very happy! Didn't fancy one of them for dinner. Joseph our youngest son, however, put his Dad straight after observing and consulting 'A Field Guide in Colour to PLANTS AND ANIMALS'. Apparently they are BLACK GROUSE! Put us right please, if you know any different. Tack sa mycket!
