A PEEK AT MY KITCHEN...


I LOVE...




The open shelves in our kitchen...

I am so happy I decided not to put the cupboard doors back on.

I Feel that these shelves define my personality
In a funny kind of way...

It's an eclectic mix of old/new
Swedish/British

All mixed up!

P.S.
 This photo was taken at the end 2009
   The shelves are even fuller now...
I'll update picture when I do a full kitchen reveal, once it's completed!

    Are you my twin? I love your open cupboards I have all open shelves and I love your mix of the enamelware and dishes with the Swedish touch!
    My shelves are so darn full everytime I try to tone it down I end up filling them right back up with stuff....I can't wait for the current picture!
    I'm trying to talk Phil into an AGA stove they sell them in Anhorage..Do you have one? I covet these stoves.

    You are right. Your cupboards say a lot about your personality. Am I right to think you are a very tidy person? Your cupboards look like you spent time some time on it, thinking how the boxes, glasses and plates look their best. I love the final result!!

    Those tins on your top shelf are my favourite!

    Very pretty, I'm not surprised you don't want the doors to hide all the yumminess!
    I cut out the centres of my doors and chicken wored them....it still makes me smile 5 yrs on!xx

    I have exactly the same delft-style tin! I have had it for years, it belonged to my grandmother and she gave it to me at least 30 years ago. I keep my favourite white and glass and shell buttons in it.
