Thank you for all your kind words regarding the loss of
... my wonderful Mum.
It is more than 4 weeks since she passed on...
My Mum was a beautiful elegant lady, she was always beautifully dressed her hair and make-up immaculate. But she was even more beautiful on the inside and this she radiated to all who met her, in her own quiet unassuming way.
My Mum was Simply Beautiful.
Devastatingly, my Mum was diagnosed with Younger Onset Dementure...Alzheimer's Disease in 2007
However, the illness started long before in 2000 and it took 2 years before a diagnosis was given.
My Mum accepted this cruel blow that nature had dealt her, with humility and dignity, even though it was her worst fear,
having lost her own mother to this cruel disease.
My Dad as well as being a wonderful husband,
had been my Mum's full-time carer.
He cared for my Mum with such courage, love and devotion.
They took on the battle together, but knew it was a battle they could never win.
A neighbour wrote
" As a couple you were admired by us all and you were both held with great respect."
Both my Dad and my Mum, through her illness have been a lesson and an inspiration.
As the wickedness and evil of this cruel disease chipped away at the beautiful person we all knew and loved, the one thing it was not able to touch or take hold of was the
POWER of LOVE.
We all take great comfort in this.

Sending loads of Celtic Love to you, Julie. Always happy to read your beautiful posts. xxx
