Busy busy busy... packing ready for our Easter holidays at the house and some fab ski-ing in Vemdalen and Salen hopefully. Halsingland has had massive snowfalls in the last few weeks on and off but temperatures have now risen considerably soo we will be ski-ing in sunshine :)
Because of the snow situation and that the house is situated remotely in the forest, we have had to make preparations to be able to get to it. Lars our friend and carpenter/builder kindly arranged for a friend, with a tractor, to plough the forest path - so the snow is clear and we will be able to drive our 4wd hire car up to the start of the track to our house, then we can trudge up in the snow! THANK YOU LARS and your tractor driver friend :)
Jon will be flying early morning to Stockholm Arlanda airport collecting the 4wd and then driving round to Vasteras to collect me and the boys whose flight arrives at 3pm. We then drive to Bollnas and will spend our first night at the Scandic hotel and drive to the house early the next morning. Where the fun and games begin...Yay!
